The API Technology Tour is a traveling exhibit that highlights the environmentally conscious technologies used by oil and natural gas companies to find resources more efficiently and precisely. Featured technologies include 3-D/4-D visualization through seismic imaging, directional drilling and deepwater drill ships.

The Technology Tour is designed to educate state legislators and the community on API's efforts to deliver responsible energy security for future generations. The exhibit focuses on three key industry priorities:

  • Efficiency - See how the oil and natural gas industry is improving efficiency and encouraging new energy saving efforts among other industries and America's populace.

  • Technology - Learn how new investment in advanced energy technologies is enabling clean and responsible resource development.

  • Diversity - Hear how the industry is increasing the diversity of our oil and natural gas supplies at home and around the world.

The exhibit includes four static informational panels and four interactive kiosks - all designed to educate and engage visitors. The modular display requires approximately 600 square feet, but may be flexibly configured to fit many different types of spaces.
